Ingredients
5stalks of fresh or frozen asparagus, trimmed
1lemon
1package cream cheese
1Tunsalted butter
1/2t. white pepper
pinch of cayenne
salt to taste
Instructions
Cook the asparagus in water until softened, about 5 minutes.
Place asparagus in a food processor or blender and pulse until pureed. Add in the butter and pulse again.
Zest the entire lemon and place in a mixing bowl with the paddle attachment. Add in the rest of the ingredients and beat until well combined. Use half the juice of the lemon to the mixture and beat again.
Adjust the seasoning to taste. Store in the fridge until ready to serve!
