Sun Tea with Blackberry Syrup

Sun Tea is a great way to let the summer sunshine make you a delicious beverage! Make this easy Sun Tea and add a little fruity sweetness with a homemade Blackberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 4 iced tea bags
  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint

Blackberry Syrup

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup water
  • 6 oz fresh blackberries

Instructions

  • Place the water, tea bags, lemon and mint in a one gallon glass jar and cover with a tight fitting lid or plastic wrap.
  • Place outside in direct sun for 2-4 hours or until the tea is your desired strength. Keep in the fridge and use within 3 days.

Blackberry Syrup

  • Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer until reduced by half. Strain into a small glass jar and cool completely before use. Store in the fridge.
    Add a few tablespoons to your glass before adding your tea. Stir and enjoy!
