Red Wine and Garlic Braised Beef Shanks

WHAT DO YOU SERVE WITH BEEF SHANKS? I like this meal over creamy mashed potatoes, but you could keep it really low carb by serving it on top of mashed cauliflower. It would also be delicious on buttered noodles or risotto!
